Yoga, laughter, gongs and massage

On Saturday we have Kat at 10am

I’m a yoga teacher and holistic therapist, for 20+ years I've been creating inclusive spaces to move, breathe and explore. My classes are rooted in curiosity and connection, with a focus on self awareness and breath. Founder of Nomada Retreat in the Catalan mountains. Fuelled by dancing, the sea, sunshine, delicious food and beautiful community.

Followed by Laughter Yoga with Sally at 11am

Laughter Yoga is the practise of laughing for laughing's sake. This simple practise unites us with our inner playful child & teaches us value in frivolity. We do this using playful movement & deep breathing.

Why do we do this? Laughing makes us feel good, gets our creative juices flowing & develops connections! Science is able to back this up showing prolonged laughter releases joyful hormones, alleviates cortisol, increases brain/body oxygen levels & enhances relationships. Social laughing is great but it rarely lasts longer than a minute or two. To get the best impact from laughing we need to prolong the lol's. So jump into a session this wkend with our laughter lady Sally to connect with a deeper, sillier laugh.

And on Sunday we have Mae at 10am

Mae teaches Scaravelli inspired yoga, blended with other somatic movement practices. Her teaching is influenced by the cycles and rhythms that exist both in the natural world around us, and those within our selves, encouraging students to listen to their own bodies and tune in to where they are in their individual life cycles. Bringing in influences from Qi Gong, Contemporary Dance and Chinese Medicine, Mae creates classes that invite intuitive flowing movements to unravel, energise, strengthen and ground the body through movement, breath and relaxation.
