LINE UP FOR ‘MAKE MINE A DOUBLE’ THIS WEEKEND
Together and Purple Radio are throwing an online Christmas party this weekend (3-4 December). The party is to help Awamu raise funds their new ‘Safe Haven’ project.
The Safe Haven will be a safe house for girls escaping violence. Much more than a roof over girls’ heads, it’s where specialist staff will provide residents with the building blocks they need to begin a new life, free from fear.
There'll be tons of the best music (of course!), chat and a special ‘Sounds Familiar music Quiz’ (the UK’s biggest, best & most awesome music quiz at 12.30pm). And all donation given via Awamu’s Big Give Appeal will be DOUBLED!

With a finale from Mr Black, the last show that will be broadcast on Purple Radio for a while! 
We won’t lie, it is going to be a weekend of very mixed emotions. Purple Radio has bought so much joy, helped to make so many connections with fantastic people and given Together and Awamu so much support over the years. They broadcast Together into your homes when we were in lockdown and couldn’t party in real life and helped us raise over £20,000! And they’ve thrown their own fundraisers and bought new friends to the festival – we’re going to miss it. But as Ian says “Lets go out with a bang!”.
