❤ Episode one: Welcome to Kampala

This is the first in a series designed to bring the voices of the incredible young people we work with in Bwaise and Kikoni, the poorest slums areas of Kampala, Uganda, to the world.

In this episode Daphine explains why she loves dancing and music. Marvin talks about his education – you might be surprised at the duties of a prefect in a Ugandan high school! And Hope and Matovu Ian tell you about where they live.

❤ Share and tell the world

The radio teams greatest hope is that their stories and interviews will be heard by people all over the world, so please subscribe and share with as many friends and family as you can this Christmas.

We hope you’ll enjoy the show and tell the world!

Monday Mix: Keenya

Here's something soothing for your Monday afternoon from electronic producer and multi instrumentalist  Keenya AKA Ricky Fabulous - who shot to fame as one third of “handmade hip hop blues soul” trio Belleruche. He's since released three solo albums under his new nom de plume for Seattle based Hush Hush records. His latest release “Moment Invisible”  features the very deepest in beatless electronica, described by one reviewer as “pure, like rain trickling down the side of a night bus window as you make your way home.”

You can get a  little taste of his style with this mix he assembled exclusively for Together, featuring classic material, remixes and forthcoming releases from Keenya himself.
