Meet Brian, 6 years. Brian and his sister were given a safe home by the heroic Sarah, an Awamu volunteer, when their mother died last year.

Vivian was already enrolled in school at the time, Brian was only 6 and hadn’t started school yet.

He missed his sister terribly when she was at school and, whilst Sarah could give hime a loving home, Awamu knew she could not afford his school fees or uniform so they put out a call for help.

Now, thanks to Awamu and the generosity of their amazing supporters, Brian has just joined his older sister Vivian at Primary School.

Vivian explained that he was so excited the night before he could hardly sleep!

e is quite shy but wanted to show you his new uniform which he is very proud of.

This is the kind of magic that profit from our party will help to make happen, exciting first days for children like Brian - helping to give them a safe home and the education that is vital to their future.

Brian has chosen this weeks #Fridaybounce, he says he loves to dance to this when it comes on the radio: Otubatisa by Irene Ntale featuring Sheeba Karungi.

Thanks for the music Brian!
