Graham Dunning
Graham Dunning's work explores sound as texture, timbre and something tactile, drawing on bedroom production, tinkering and recycling found objects. In this Mechanical Techno live set he uses a standard DJ turntable as a sequencer, sound source and ramshackle engine, building a spinning contraption in real-time to make wonky and weird dance music.

Paddy Steer
It’s a sometime cartoon-like music dense with events, new textures and the colours of children’s paintings, sounds like a Swiss cuckoo clock made of egg boxes and horsehair, glued together by an African Moog player in a Vietnamese iron monger's shop.
Paddy Steers synthesiser show is so far away from kling klang clinicalism and the haughty air of the modular meet.
On the surface it is a pound shop space program, but without fail I‘ve seen the casual listener fall into Paddy’s magic tar pit.

Dog Unit
Dog Unit are an instrumental rock band from London who write TV theme tunes from an alternate reality. Across their two EPs released so far, they have moved between spaghetti western trip-hop sludge-metal, sky-high drone-dub, space-jazz post-punk and blissed-out melancholia, all the while retaining an ear for approachable melody and knack for insistent rhythm that makes every track super-hummable.
Their last record, Turn Right and Right Again, was recorded by super-producer/mixer David Wrench, known for his work with Frank Ocean, the xx, Caribou, David Byrne, Manic Street Preachers and Goldfrapp. It was then mixed by Kieran Hebden (Four Tet) and mastered by James Trevascus at Invada, the studio run by Geoff Barrow (Portishead, BEAK>).
Dog Unit describe their sound as “a rock band’s interpretation of electronic music, so all the signifiers of dance music — build and drop, lots of emphasis on pulse, repetition and cross-rhythms, melodies posing as riffs etc — but filtered into a two-guitars-bass-and-drums line-up. It’s instrumental rock music you want to dance to.”

Kai Daguerre aka monkaiboy
Kai Daguerre aka monkaiboy has been making noises on guitars and other things with strings for forty years. He’s been playing with technology for nearly as long. He made his first multi-track recording age eleven bouncing between two cassette players… it was pleasingly crunchy.
Sadly, few of these noises were released back into their natural habitat and most have languished in captivity. Over the years they have interbred, creating hybrids; some beautiful and delicate, some noisy and rude, others glitchy and uncertain.
Now it is time to re-wild these sounds with an ambitious program of release and rehabilitation.
Layers of acoustic guitar, loops of found-sound, analog delays and filtered drum machines will be allowed to roam free and intermingle. The results of this possibly ill-advised experiment are uncertain but long overdue.
